Pleasanton Scottish Highland Gathering & Games

Celebrating its historic 160th year, the Scottish Highland Gathering & Games brings one of America’s great Scottish traditions to Pleasanton, California, over Labor Day Weekend. Presented by the Caledonian Club of San Francisco, the two-day gathering fills the Alameda County Fairgrounds with massed pipe bands, Highland dancing, heavy athletics, clans and Scottish societies, living history, Celtic music and entertainment, traditional food and drink, Scottish animals, vendors, and activities for the whole family. The 160th Games continue a tradition begun by the Caledonian Club in San Francisco in 1866 and bring together competitors, performers, clans, families, and visitors from across the United States and beyond.
